When there is too much, or an EXCESS of YANG the body may react with symptoms of:
TOO MUCH Heat/Warmth- Consistent heat and high body temperatures
TOO MUCH Expansion-Inflammations, redness and burning pains
TOO MUCH Absorption-Severe dryness in the body and thirst
TOO MUCH Energy-Unusually high energy levels
TOO MUCH Wakefulness/Alertness-Trouble relaxing, falling asleep
TOO MUCH Body Function/Movement-Inability to stay still
TOO MUCH Qi-Too much energy overloading the body and it’s meridians
Note: It is common for people with Yang Excess to also have symptoms of Yin Deficiency.
In order to balance a Yang Excess, it is advisable to AVOID foods that promote and tonify Yang.
